FRIDAY, 09th September 2016

  • 09:00-11:30 - A tour of the plant “Behr-Hella Thermocontrol GmbH” BHTC. The BHTC headquarters are located in Lippstadt, North Rhine-Westphalia. Lippstadt is an attractive place for business, characterised by technology and electronics. The automotive supply industry is the key element in this. From development and production through to sales, the entire value chain is catered for at our headquarters. This is where sophisticated new technologies for the complex climate control panels are created, "Made in Germany".
  • 12:00-14:00 - Lunch at Schloss Erwitte. Consciously enjoy the recommended kitchen and informal atmosphere of intimate rooms in the castle restaurant. Simple, but yet sophisticated,they offer you fresh cuisine with an international flair. 
  • 14:45-17:00 - Guided tour of the renovated quarries “Köster” Westkalk
  • 17:30-19:30 - Montgolfiade Warstein “evening start”
    • Europe's largest annual balloon festival with more than 200,000 visitors
    • More than 200 balloons, balloon special shapes and airships
    • Night Glows with accompanying music
    • Fair hustle and action stages

  • 19:30-22:00 - Ballooning party (Food and drink)

SATURDAY, 10th September 2016

  • 09:00-10:00 - Journey to the monastery Dalheim
  • 10:00-12:00 - Guided tour of the monastery 
  • 12:00-13:30 - Lunch at the monastery restaurant Kloster Dalheim, Monastery Dalheim is a former Augustinian Monastery in Lichtenau. Founded in the 15th century and enlarged in the Baroque, the monastery was used as a farmhouse after the secularization (1803). Since 2007 you can found the LWL-State Museum of monastic culture in monastery Dalheim (one of 17 museums of the regional association of Westphalia-Lippe).
  • 13:30-14:15 - Journey to Paderborn
  • 14:15-16:45 - Guided tour of the Heinz Nixdorf Museum. The Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum is the world’s largest computer museum, as well as a vibrant venue. The 5,000-year history, present and future of information technology is depicted over 6,000 m2 of floorspace, from the origins of numbers and characters in 3,000 B.C. all the way to the computer age of the 21st century. The 2,000-plus objects on show are presented within the broad context of social and economic history, making the exhibition appealing to laymen and computer experts alike. The extensive offering of events in the MuseumsForum complements the exhibition. Lectures, workshops and conferences focus on aspects of the far-reaching influence exerted by information technologies on both man and society at large. Thus the remit of the HNF is to address the issues of man’s guidance and education in the present-day information society.
  • 16:45-17:30 - Return to the hotel
  • 17:30-19:00 - Leisure time, we recommend a stroll around the Salinas Bad Sassendorf. The Bad Sassendorf graduation as powerful and imposing anything surmounted in its present form in the park, in 1960 rebuilt. It is 60 m long and 10 m high. A beam structure as a supporting element forms the backbone of the structure. In this framework blackthorn bundles are incorporated. With the help of pumps, the brine is distributed onto the mandrel walls of the graduation house. When trickling of the brine is carried out by the blackthorn a considerable increase in surface area. Thus, the evaporation of water is promoted. Heat, dry wind and sunlight enhance this effect. In addition to the increase in concentration of the brine is simultaneously cleaned. to z. B. carbonates, sulfates, lime, gypsum and iron attach themselves to the thorns.These gray-brown deposits called Thornstone you. Upon evaporation of the water reach small salt particles into the air. One speaks of "Gradierverlust". In the immediate vicinity of the graduation house this enriched air provides ideal conditions for medical use as an outdoor inhalation, similar to the sea air has a positive effect on the airways. Especially asthmatics and pollen allergy sufferers is to recommend a walk through or around the salt works. We are happy to invite you also a, to sit on a bench, breathe deeply the fresh air and feel its beneficial effects. Located next to the salt works is the Sole Therme Bad Sassendorf.
